Inaugural Networking Reception 2023

BIMA's Inaugural Networking Reception 2023 was a resounding success, with a total of 140 attendees joining us in person, alongside a significant online audience. This exclusive event brought together students and medical professionals alike, united by a shared passion for healthcare and cultural heritage.

Our keynote speakers included: Dr Chaand Nagpaul (ex-BMA Chair),  Dr Ash Soni (Founder of The Soni Clinic), Mr Chinmay Gupte (globally recognised T&O surgeon + ex-professional cricketer) and many more.

3rd Annual Confrence 2023

The "Art of a Doctor" conference held at Imperial College Campus, was a huge success with over 120 attending in person alongside many more online. The event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Dr. Priya Chadha, Dr. Anil Jain, and Dr. Monjur Showkat, each sharing expertise on diverse topics ranging from aesthetics to clinical leadership. Attendees actively participated in interactive workshops covering essential medical procedures such as Wound Closure, Lumbar Puncture, and Echocardiograms, gaining invaluable hands-on skills to enhance their professional practice.

Can I congratulate you and all your team of organisers for pulling off an incredibly successful event. It was also run with admirable professionalism and flair.

It was indeed inspiring for both myself and Meena to meet so many enthusiastic and talented medical students, and also to catch up with some fellow colleagues.

I have every confidence that BIMA will be a catalyst, support and enabler to ensure that medical students and young doctors of Indian origin rise to achieving their fullest potential in their career journey.
