The BIMA DIMES Study

Discrimination and Inclusivity Experiences in Medical Students aims to address racism and discrimination experienced by students in the healthcare system. We encourage everyone from all backgrounds to submit their experiences to help establish a comparative baseline. The proposed survey will gather valuable insights into discrimination incidents, reporting barriers, and reasons behind racism in the healthcare and medical school setting.

All responses are anonymous, and data collection will close on the 31st of December, 2023. All respondents will be entered into a free complete Geeky Medics🩺 code draw (two available).

Dr Chaand Nagpaul (Past BMA Council Chair 2017-2022) has endorsed and supported this initiative.
